Deon Liebenberg

VP, Innovation and Strategy, Optus Business

As the VP, Innovation and Strategy, Optus Business, Deon Liebenberg leads our Mobile, Fixed and ICT product teams.

Deon joined Optus in July 2018 and brings a deep understanding of the global ICT and Telecommunications industry. He is experienced in the creation and development of new and fast growth enterprises.

Previously, Deon was the Managing Executive at Vodacom Africa leading the Internet of Things Division. Prior to this, he was the Executive Vice President for Vodafone’s Global Enterprise business in Africa. 

Deon holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of the Free State, South Africa as well as a Bachelor of Business Management and Administration, and a Master in Business and Administration from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
